The website vs. the software
This site is documentation and marketing content: architecture explanations, comparisons, and links to the Build A Harness software. The software itself — the canvas, adapter, and harness — lives in a separate GitHub repository and is licensed under the Apache License 2.0. That license, not these terms, governs your right to use, modify, and redistribute the software — including its own warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability, which apply to the code independently of anything on this website.
No warranty
The content on this site — including architecture claims, comparison tables, and evaluation results — is provided for informational purposes on an "as is" basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Comparative claims about third-party projects reflect our own reading of publicly available sources at the time of writing and are not endorsed by those projects; we link our sources where a claim is specific and factual.
You run your own harness
Build A Harness compiles specifications into code that you run yourself, typically self-hosted via Docker on infrastructure you control. Once compiled and running, any agent, tool call, or generated code executes under your configuration and your credentials. You are responsible for reviewing what you deploy, for the scopes and permissions you grant it (including any shell execution, file access, or external API calls it's configured to make), and for its output and consequences. Nothing on this site is a guarantee that a given flow, once compiled, will behave correctly, safely, or as described for your particular use case.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, 3IVIS GmbH is not liable for damages arising from your use of this website or of software obtained via links from it, except where liability arises from intent or gross negligence, or from injury to life, body, or health. This limitation does not affect any liability under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz) or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

This site links to third-party projects, documentation, and services (for example, comparison and citation links). We don't control and aren't responsible for the content or availability of third-party sites.

Governing law
